Intel reveals the 3rd generation Classmate PC at IDF this week. Well, it isn't your standard notebook anymore, it's a Tablet PC. The Classmate PC is a convertible notebook with touch screen capabilities. Now you can use your finger or stylus to navigate and take notes.

The Classmate PC is more rugged then a standard notebook and the handle makes it easy to carry back and forth to class or in tablet mode. It comes equipped with a nice web cam and many more features to keep students happy. The Classmate tablet can get wet and take the bumps and bruises of a student's daily grind. Intel may have a winner this time, as long as the performance and price tag match.
