Recently, Vye Computers has released a new mini PC model, the mini-v S37 Model B, which tries to be capable of performing all the required tasks of a standard 15.4-inch notebook computer but in a smaller, practical size of just 7 inch in diagonal at a weight of 1120 grams with the 6-cell battery.

There is not a big difference between the S41 model I wrote about back in February, as the S37 has 120GB of HDD storage capacity, with just 20GB more compared with the previous model, and some minor design differences that are not too visible, but you have several enhancement options which you may add such as touchscreen, more HDD storage up to 250GB, or a 32GB Solid State Drive.

The new convertible mini notebook features a QWERTY keyboard, Microsoft Windows operating system, and functionality of phone, music player, Portable Movie Player, iTunes/DivX/Skype support, 3G, and ports for VGA, LAN, USB, Bluetooth and other connectivity types.

To access it you can use the keyboard, mouse, the touch pad, joystick, tilting, swivel or the touch-sensitive WSVGA TFT display.

Model B is powered by the same processor type as the previously mentioned S41, and it is an Intel A110 capable to reach 800 MHz speeds, while the memory is a DDR2 667MHz of 1024MB.

You can then opt for Windows Vista Home Premium, the XP Professional or no operating system pre-installed.
