Review: NEC Versa S9100

NEC Versa S9100 is the newest laptop released by NEC.


It runs on Window s Vista Business operating system being powered by an Intel Core2 Duo processor with Enhanced Intel SpeedStep technology, and graphics taken care by Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 with up to 384MB shared memory.

Versa S9100 sports a 12-inch WXGA Supershine LED backlight display with a resolution of1280 x 800 pixel and comes wth 2GB DDR2 SDRAM 667MHz memory, a 2.5-inch S-ATA HDD of 160 GB with G-Force Shock Protection Technology, dual DVD-RW optical drive, Intel PRO 4965AGN 802.11a/g/n wireless module, Intel 82566MC Gigabit LAN, Bluetooth 2.0 + Enhanced Data Rate, built-in speakers with Integrated High Definition Audio , and the following connectivity slots and ports: 1 PCMCIA type II, 1 SD-Card reader, 2 USB 2.0 ports, Lin-out / headphone, Mic-In, 1 LAN RJ-45 Port, and 1 VGA 15-pin D-Sub.

The 6-cell 7800mAh battery keeps the Versa notebook operating for up to 6 hours.
